Myria Efthymiou is an artist based in Larnaca, Cyprus.

She graduated in 2011 with a BA in Fine and Applied Arts from Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) in Kent, England. Her artistic expertise lies in both painting and sculpture, with her practice rooted in a deep connection to nature. Inspired by landscapes, natural forms, found objects, and the emotional energy of color, Myria explores the way natural elements can be transformed into visual experiences.

She primarily works with acrylic paint and mixed media, often using intense, vivid color to create strong contrasts between subject and background. Her compositions aim to evoke an atmosphere—where light, space, and energy converge.

Myria has participated in various group exhibitions in Cyprus and London. In 2016, she held her first solo exhibition at Peri Technis Gallery in Larnaca.

Artist statement: Nature is the key to finding calmness of mind. We must grow with it and protect even its smallest parts to preserve the purity of our environment.
